In 2015 Eva was founded out of a passion to raise the bar of the hemp industry. While working for a microbiology lab in Maryland, Dane visited California with Nicole and quickly saw room for improvement in the industry. Months later they attended Oaksterdam University before moving to Santa Rosa, California to begin their journey.
Their first project was making raw hemp juice. This was an idea that they were only playing around with until they were rocked with a cancer diagnosis for their dog, Mary. The vet told them she would only survive another 3 months and strongly urged them to immediately begin chemotherapy treatment. They decided not to do chemo and instead they began giving Mary the left over pulp from the raw juice, and she loved it! On top of this they were giving her CBD isolate mixed with peanut butter twice daily. Mary also has arthritis, so they included turmeric and ginger with the hemp juice mix and “Better Pet Relief” was born. They quickly ran into the shelf life problem before they discovered a way to preserve the raw plant in its raw form indefinitely for approximately 20 years while retaining 99% of all vitamins, minerals, cannabinoids, terpenes, and more. After preserving, the raw hemp turned to powder that they dosed into capsules for future use.
Many stressful days turned into a few months and ultimately a follow up vet visit confirmed the cancer had gone into remission. She was diagnosed in October 2016, wrote off for dead by December 2016, then cancer free by July 2017 and still alive and better than ever to this day.
After Mary’s incredible turn of events they expanded our efforts to a full lineup to help as many people and pets as they could.

Mary is a Pit/Dalmation mix who received a terminal lymphoma diagnosis in October 2016 and was given 3 months to live. After developing Better Pet Relief for her cancer and arthritis her cancer has gone into remission and her arthritis is managed. This has allowed her to remain an active, playful, healthy, and happy dog. We couldn’t be happier to have our best friend still with us to this day and she has become Eva’s mascot and symbol of hope.
